ALS Scandinavia has advanced experience in analysis of trace elements in blood and other biological materials. As a supplement to metal analyses, we also offer analyses for various organic pollutants, e.g., dioxins, brominated flame retardants and chlorinated organic compounds in blood, fat and serum.

Contamination of blood and serum from sampling equipment

Many essential elements occur in blood and serum in very low concentrations. Even minor contaminations can therefore increase sample concentrations considerably. To ensure a satisfactory analysis, great caution is required when handling blood and serum samples.
